Mad Studio is a Paris-based interior design practice working to bridge cultures with creative solutions and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Rooted in real materials and personal stories, we design for those who expect more from the spaces they inhabit: internationals settling in Paris, first-time buyers, and seasoned renters, who care as much about what’s on their walls, as what’s on their plates.
From seeking out unique pieces, to rethinking whole spaces, we believe in designs that endure. Layering elements from modern European, Mediterranean, and heritage influences, our homes feel purposeful and quietly original.
Originally from London, Madeleine brings her diverse experiences as a storyteller to her designs. With a background in English literature and art history, she started her career as a journalist and magazine editor before studying interior design and training at a boutique residential studio in Paris.
Today, she uses her cultural and artistic sensibility to enrich the design language of each project at her own studio. With an expertise in 20th-century design and contemporary art, she is constantly seeking out new perspectives and prides herself on translating her clients’ visions into homes that align with their current lifestyle and anticipate their future needs.
