Custom furniture design
The couple requested a full design of their bedroom, open plan living room, kitchen, and balcony in their rented home. They desired to implement most of the design themselves, with additional help from us as needed.
The project combined a completely new kitchen, furniture sourcing, and a style refresh, built around the clients’ existing art collection. The brief called for a balance of french and dutch sensibilities, with a few bespoke elements: custom shelving, the re-upholstery of their headboard, and a library wall designed to pair well with their vintage pieces. The apartment’s 1970s structure set the tone in the open-plan living area, calling for a retro touch and pops of colour, while the bedroom quietly nods to the french countryside. A mix styles that feels distinctly them.
